V is the main protagonist and playable character of Cyberpunk 2077. V's appearance, lifepath, and skills can be customized when you create your character at the start of the game. Depending on your Lifepath and how you interact with characters you can shape V's personality. V is a cyberpunk who tries to make it out as a mercenary in Night City. In here, reputation is king. V has already lost everything but he is not alone — there’s always Jackie, a solo with a mission to make it to the big leagues, so V joins him for the ride.
V is candid and straightforward — when he has a question, he asks it, when he has an opinion, he voices it, no matter the consequences. If it means making someone anxious or uncomfortable, screw them. But it’s not as V’s out to provoke, it’s just how he observes and interacts with reality.
